Hello again folks!
I really have had a "detailing summer". Car after car after car... LOL! I`m a complete amateur so it`s a big deal for me.
Well, we can not speak actually "detailing" since it`s been only paint correction jobs. Like this, my co-workers real daily driver: Ford Mondeo 2002.
He asked me to enchance the paint. Enhance, not to make it perfect. That`s why it was quite fun to work :xyxthumbs.
The process was:
1) Pre-Wash
- Korrek Lensitil BR solvent wash spray
- Bilt-Hamber Autofoam
2) Wash
- Turtle Wax Big Orange
- Two bucket method + Microfiber mitt
3) Claying
- Zaino Z-18
- Bilt-Hamber Autofoam as a lubricant (suited the job pretty well)
4) Polish
- Menzerna PO85RD 3.02 + Lake Country CCS Yellow Cutting pad / Orange Light Cutting pad
- Flex XC 3401 VRG
5) LSP
- FK1000P
6) Tyres
- AutoGlym Instant Tyre Dressing

Before everything & wash:
Autofoam in action!
-----------------------------------------------------------------
After the wash:
Looks decent, right?
Oh.. holograms and stuff!
No no....
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Preparing:
Original paint.
Aha! Repainted!
What the...!?

Defects:

50/50`s:
Pretty heavy stuff was needed --> the combination of a Flex, PO85RD 3.02 and LC CCS Yellow finishes incredibly well!
Not everything could be corrected. Maybe wetsanding but I don`t do that.
