It had been since August of last year since she got anything but a QEW or hose wash and some Z8 once a month.

It has now been 20 months since she has had a full correction. After a wash 4 weeks ago, I could see some light swirls in the brightest sun.

She was looking kind of nasty since I drove her home from work last w/e in the 5" of snow and ice. Sorry no before pics.

She shows just about 125k on the odo now, Chris and I replaced the front suspension a few months ago.

Even though I work my FT job on Fri-Sun nights, I made some time to give her some great protection over the last 2 days. The weather was mid 60s yesterday and today.

    Lance foamed with Z7.

    Rinse

    Lance foam with Z7 again.

Washed via 2MB and sheepskin mitt.

    Wheels cleaned with MWB.

    Tires and wells got ARO.

ZAIO via white CCS pad G110 v2 speed 4.5.

    Protection:

3x of ZFX`d Zaino Z5pro with a shot of Z8 in mix bottle yesterday.

    Tires got Z-16.

    Interior Vac.

    Today:

    Z6 wipedown

    Zaino Clearseal

    Finished w/ Z8.

I`m looking fwd to a solid 6 months of protection, maybe longer....

gmblack3a- Looks great, per usual. Every time you post pics of that car I`m struck by how wonderful it looks and how nice you`ve kept it :xyxthumbs

I bet the MWB was a lifesaver on the wheels!

Did the ZAIO do anything for the light marring? I`m assuming the paint on that car is as hard as that on my `97 M3.

Do you also use the Zaino LSP approach on the black plastic bits like the "B" pillars and the side moldings?

Summer clean up? It`s still February! I guess the nice weather starts pretty early in the year for you guys down in the ATL.

I probably say this every time you post pics of this thing, but I absolutely *love* that car. Probably the cleanest higher mileage E38 anywhere.

Considering the age and mileage, I`d have to say that paint looks great. Very nice.

    Thanks Accumulator!

MWB is a lifesaver on any wheels.

ZAIO-maybe a little. When I see the car clean again in the bright sun I will know for sure.

I use clearseal on those areas, but not Z5pro.

Thanks Barry! I`d love to have some M-parallels on her. Tint would be nice too, but too many house projects still left.

Thanks Bigpoppa! I`m just hoping that the LSP gets me thru the summer, it has in the past...

It was mid 60s the 2 days I worked on it, last week 5" of snow.

Thanks Sludge! The busy season is fast approaching, I still need to zaino the truck.

Thank you! Funny thing is a 3 series from the same year goes for the same or more money then the boat.

Great work ... that`s a gorgeous color. You don`t see many of those around and especially in that condition.

That looks incredible. I always love when you post pictures of that car - my favorite color of my favorite body style 7. I was close to ordering a Barbera Red 5 series which is the current iteration of that classy color.

Thanks 2005GTPinMD! I`ve seen that color on a newer 7 a few years back, very nice.
