Here is a 94 (i think) Cadillac Eldorado brought to me by one of my corvette customers. He just picked this up and wanted some life brought back to it. It had never been detailed before and with over 100k miles, it showed! This was JUST a 1 stage paint correction job and some heavy interior cleaning, but nothing super fancy. It cleaned up much better than I expected! With just one stage I got over 80% correction out of it. Finished it up with a couple coats of Zaino as well.

    [b]Process:[b]

    Exterior

    -Foamed with Dawn

    -Rinsed and Dawn wash

    -Megs APC 4:1 on wheels/tires

    -Daytona EZ detail brush

    -Swissvax Wheel brush

-Clayed with Z18 and Megs LT as lube

-Engine with Megs APC 3:1 and various brushes

-Tires and black trim with Zaino Z16

    Interior

    -Vacuumed

    -Leather with Megs APC 5:1

    -Zaino Z10 conditioner

-303 Carpet cleaner for mats and carpets

    -Stoner`s Invisible Glass on windows

-vents and console cleaned with various brushes/qtips

    Correction

-Megs 205 on orange LC 5.5

    -using KBM method

    LSP

    -Zaino Z5pro x2

    -Zaino Z6

    Here are the carnage pics

This WAS a new claybar... and here is it after 1 sq ft of the hood...

Dull and dry looking paint... not to mention all the swirls too.

You know your swirls are REALLLLLY bad when a streetlight from 30yards away still makes it look horrific!

    Now the nasty interior....

    Some interior afters

Nice work. I like that body style. Last winter there was a black Caddy Eldorado on here like that one. The owner used Collinite 845. Anybody have pics of that 1 or a link.

    thanks

Other than that it looks great! For whatever reason I like those things, IMO they still look classy.

I was already overbudget on time, and owner said not to bother.

    Thanks

You did a heck of a job! If I were the owner I would be thrilled to see that for an end result.

    still looks great though.

    Couple quick questions . . . .

How long did it take you to complete that job?

What brush or tool are you using to make the stripes in the carpet?

14 hours. Used a pretty standard stiff bristled carpet brush.

Very nice amount of correction you got using #205 and a DA polisher. Huge improvement!

Judging by the wheels, the seats, and the style its newer than 97 man, I love Eldorados and I`ve a history with a few. I never found a black one no matter how hard I tried much less an ETC. You made it look astounding nice job!

Thanks! He was kind of a mellow guy so he didn`t have a dramatic reaction. But he did love it!
