Hi everyone! Here`s another Scuderia 16M that I did this week. Lately with almost every Ferrari that I get from the dealership I`m pressed for time. This was no exception . Trying to fit their schedule, which is never certain because they have to rely on so many other people, with my busy business schedule can be pretty tedious. I had one day to complete this car :, but I initially told them it would take 3 days for perfection, min 2 days for damn close to it. So I wound up staying until about 11 pm that day trying to get as much of the damage out as I could. This wasn`t a 100% correction or even close, but with the alloted time I`d say an 80-85% correction isn`t half bad. Yes it disturbs me that I had to leave that many scratches on the car, especially when I`m the first person that talks to the customer at delivery time about car care, paint protection, etc. I just hope the guy`s not as anal as I am. Anyway here`s the piccies, enjoy!

Removing the protective wrap... you know the one that protects all the scratches .

The damage report that I have to fill out... those lines represent places where chickens danced on the car.

    Luigi was here!

    Oops, some overspray...

This Scuderia 16M Spider is a very rare one indeed... it comes with it`s very own authentic spider webs spun by real Italian spiders!!! Dude, this is going to be such a collector`s item one day...

For those of you who can`t really see any damage or for those of you who are still learning what to look for, the "pink" shades on this particular color are the damaged parts. This pink is caused by the clear coat being scratched thus becoming a shade of white... white and red = pink .

The hood was the worst part as far as swirls go, but the deck lid had the most RIDS.

    Let`s boogie

Here`s some after pics following an IPA wipe and before Nanolex

Krisz the Wrapping King doin` his thang... he rocks!

    With Nanolex just before delivery...

Here`s a walk around video of the damage

the new owner`s best friend was there at delivery time and was asking me a lot of questions about clear bras, etc. and he`s going to mull it over for a couple of days, but most likely he`s going to have me polish his new car and then have it wrapped... one of these >>

Can`t wait for that one!! :getdown

Thanks for reading and to all the Playboy subscribers, thanks for "reading"!

Very nice. Especially for the amount of time spent.

Curious, would this be typical for a new Ferrari?

I understand these are hand built and painted... Along with the overspray,

    There`s a pin hole that wasn`t filled.

Jesse very nice man. How can I say this other then, They are piss poor at the finishing stages of these cars. I can understand a few small things from transportation, but cobwebs is just wrong. How did the overspray get there. Are they painting them after they put it together? Unreal. Great work my friend!

The pin hole and overspray says a lot. It`s not just the finishing stage that was

rushed but, also, the body, prep and paint stage as well. Guess, you`re not the

    only one with time constraints.

However, hand crafted (custom) pieces can - and obviously do - have minor

blemishes. So, all my jobs must be custom too!

Thanks man! Sad to say, but yes it`s typical of a new F-car .

Thank you my friend! Yep, the Halloween cobwebs were a bit disturbing on this one... anyway, as for the fit and finish I`ll leave you with a picture of the 1st 16M I repaired >>

Yeah we meet sometimes and speak on MSN... We`re trying to get a detailing forum going here in HU, but neither of us can really focus on it

sorry sight to see, and I`m sorry to hear you didn`t have time to give such a beautiful ride the care it deserved. Such is life...

Never-the-less, outstanding work Jesse. No doubt the car is 5x better than it would have been without you!
