ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I don`t know if I would have even tried to do that car. WOW
Detail porn!! Had to turn the PC off when the wife came by. I love it!!! Simply lovely!
Wow. I would`ve written that off as the paint is too far gone. This wasn`t a detail....it was a miracle! Nice job!

Great post. Worthy of resurrection for sure. I just hope that the owner took the car back to the seller for some torture therapy.....
Man, I just spent my morning going through this epic/classic post (again). It truly "defined" Barry as the detailer-extraordinaire he is.
What REALLY sets this post apart is so many of the past and present Autopian All-stars have some post-and-comment for Barry and Mr. Theal took the time to thank every one. I think he spent more time posting than he did detailing. (Or he has Accumulator`s secret-software/method to posting on this forum.)
Mr. Theal`s comments about not concerned with price and doing this for the love of detailing and commitment to perfection regardless of time are indicative of his passion/obsession with the art and skill in detailing that comes with that rare individual who loves what he does and wants to be the best. What I like most is his willingness to share that with all of us in this forum, regardless of what level of detailing we are at. I have said this before that Barry is an inspiration to us all and we are fortunate and privileged to have him as a fellow Autopian.
All I can say is, "Thanks, Barry"
(Now if I could only find out what Ron Ketcham (AKA Grumpy) has been up to these days)

Man, it has been 7+ years since I looked at and posted in this thread (#162).
STILL one of those epic threads from a long-time Autopian All-Star.
Oh yah, David Fermani qualifies for that title as well (even of the above response is short--and-sweet!)
