thats is some very impressive work. had a 92 cadillac i did last week that i quoted at night for a cut n buff. it had some bad lacquer checking in it and a lot of faded out spots. i was able to save most of the oxidized paint but the roof and trunk lid only absorbed the compound i was working with. in the end i ended up with a shiny finish but i was dissapointed in the spots that were way too faded to save. you ever had one like that?

How did I miss this one??? Beautiful!
Yeah, this was when Barry was an ametuer. He`s much better now and could probably do this job in half the time. :chuckle::waxing:

BTW, I asked Barry about this car a recently and it`s still in great shape. Wanted to post that since some people had said "eh, it`ll just oxidize again right away.." and other people (heh heh, gee...guess who ) had questioned whether taking off that much paint would precipitate near-immediate failure.

I really enjoy your posts and have to say that your work is some of the best I have seen. :
You didn`t describe the man`s reaction when he saw it!

I havent heard from this gentleman in a while. I will have to call him and see what if i can set something up. The finish held up for quite some time. It has begun to show some small areas of oxidation. As always tthanks for the comments. Id love to have this back i
