Here is a sneak peak of a 512BBI.

This owner was looking for a detailer in MA and a very good customer of mine recommended him to me. He had seen a few of my jobs in person and was wondering if I could save his car. He said he had tried buffing it himself, but had no luck at all. I went to his shop and inspected it and I was shocked:nervous2:! I was almost unsure if it even had any hope left.

This paint had almost every issue possible. :aww: The owner said price was not even an issue and wanted the car as original as it could be. He thought about painting it, but knew it would hurt the value and wanted to keep that original patina look to it.

    Here are some pics.... Enjoy:nervous:

A few of the after pics are in post #89 and 91

Yes, this is the one I did a month ago. At first I was so sure it would have no hope, but I was very determined. Rick says that I love pain. I love a great challenge!

Using store bought cheap products is/was the cause. Also having someone buff the car with no knowledge causes issues like this too.

Too much spray wax was the cause of the glazing of the paint. You can see all the products rotten in the paint. This car was washed and waxed often and it shows. It looks like they washed it with a brush and all the 25 years worth of waxing was in all the crevices.

Lack of knowledge was the cause.
