That was a scary video. The sad part is there are thousands of guys like him thinking they know how to perfect paint.

I like how the applicator pad he used to put on the "sealant" falls to the ground after he wipes it on the car.

Wow Ryan, this thread is like going to the strip club. All sights and no action.

The scarest part is that he does not leave swirls in the paint. UGGHHH!! If he is the Master detailer, then I have a long way to go before becoming a MasterOriginally Posted by rydawg

He was a mobile clear bra installer, there to install a clear bra for another client in the shop who hadn`t arrived by then. So, they`re chatting away and I am looking at this installer`s fire engine Red Ford F150 (as I recall, anyway) which was outside in the sun. On his closed tailgate is the biggest hologram I think I had ever seen (not to mention, swirl city).
Anyway, I mention this to him and what I do etc., how I can fix the problems he`s got with his truck, and I show him a few pictures of my work. What`s the first thing he does? He attacks me for washing in the sun. Didn`t seem to really matter that it was the morning of an April day with the temperature around 15 degrees, and the fact that any water-spotting would be removed during the 10 hours of polishing which ensued. Basically, he had a rule branded in his head and he wanted to take me down a notch, because if I knew how to fix his problem that somehow he would then be less than me.
Human nature.
