This is the first time using a porter cable. I am somewhat of a perfectionist, so I will readily admit that it needs more work. You can`t tell from the pictures, but there are still swirls to remove. I`d say I got 50-80% depending on the spot. I think I might need some more abrasive pads for next time.

It wasn`t all negative. I was pleasantly surprised by the KAIO, and then made happier by applying NXT 2.0 on top of that. I used Meguiar`s because I had leftovers.

    Here`s what I did:

    -wash with Meguiar`s Gold Class

    -clay with Meguiar`s kit

-polish with Menzerna SIP, 4" ccs orange pad

-polish with Menzerna Nano, 4" ccs white pad

-seal with KAIO, wipe on/off by hand

-wax with Meguiar`s NXT 2.0, 6" ccs red pad

WashClayPolishWax - a set on Flickr

    EDIT:

Keep an eye out. I`ll be doing a comparison of Lexol and Leatherique on my back seats, which are nasty dirty... my guess is that I will end up applying Leatherique process over the Lexol cleaned spot anyways

Great work quixotic! You may want to read up on this Leather Car Care article on DetailingWiki.com. It covers a lot of these issues with leather cleaners and conditioners.
