Todd, when it comes to leather, you seem to either use Leatherique or Leather Masters products. How do you decide which to use on a specific car`s leather?

Thanks for sharing another fine piece of art, and for taking time to write up a very detailed review.

LOL... Thanks. I don`t think I put anybody to shame (but I do spend to much time on my write ups). Maybe I pay too much for my car insurance as well?

PS: Those little metal pieces on the rims (can`t think of what they are called), would have been much easier and quicker to polish with Eagle One`s Nevr Dull, a wadding type polish, than painstakingly going over them with a q-tip and the Mother`s product. Having used both and prefering the Mother`s overall for larger pieces and more neglected aluminum, Nevr Dull would have worked well and quickly on that.

PS #2: Thanks for taking the time to do this write up, I`m sure many will learn/benefit from it (I know I did).

Thanks Bigpoppa. I tried Never Dull on the bolts but I kept getting it on the paint which would then require a swab to remove, so it was lose/lose.

Thanks Jimmie! The top was completely dry (it sat two to three hours outside after being rinsed). I didn`t treat it the second day because it was starting to get covered with polishing dust. Thanks for the kind words!

On purpose! I believe that is a picture of a brake caliper which was scuffed when the rim loosened on the car (and wobbled on the highway). The dealership "refinished" the caliper and it had staining that some people on another forum said looked like brake dust.

Bert to be honest, I prefer Leatherique because of the application method which is just cool. It does take longer to use, so if I have the time I use it (like 4 days). Both are top notch products. Also, Zaino`s Z9/Z10 is a great product line as well.

That`s a lot of work, but it would have been a waste to not document it. Thanks for taking the time to put this all together. It goes without saying, but amazing work as usual!

It would not have been a waste since my car would still be incredibly clean. LOL

I`m embarrassed how dirty it was; you don`t realize how dirty it is in real life when you just run out of the house and jump in your car, seeing the pics I see how filthy it really was; ugh.:down

So I guess to summarize, if you have a multi-day detail you will use Leatherique but if it is a one day detail you will use Leather Masters?

Which Leather Masters products do you use? Strong Clean, Vital Conditioner and Protection Cream? Approx how much of each would have been used on that Gallardo had you used Leather Masters? I know Leatherique requires quite a bit of product, wasn`t sure if Leather Masters was the same.

As always, thanks for the information you share with us.
