Being banned from Autopia is probably not going to cause Todd to lose sleep, I know that much.

It is up to you to find the other posts. Some of the posts are from people who are on this board. I am sure they know of this post and have decided not to post in here for one reason or another. I dont know why but its obvious they dont want to, I`m not going to drag their name in here. They are on the other boards and it is the most recent posts. If you want to question what they are saying then by all means go ahead but I am not going to be the middle man.

I dont do the nerdy detail write ups, I like before pictures and after pictures and if you want to know what I used then I`ll tell you. I`m not writing a bible, I detail cars and thats what it is, detailing.......nothing more than cleaning a car. Your too cool to question though, you roll with Todd the big dog. I bet you even have matching promise rings, now how can I contest with that.

Do you mean to say that just because someone doesn`t post C&Bs, they are not to voice their opinion?

As far as Todd`s posts are concerned, he simply COPIED Mark`s style from Detailing World - picture for picture. That is not hard to do.

What Todd wanted is to be called the "best detailer in the world". So he discredits Paul Dalton many times but I didn`t see you posting about that. I wonder why not. Todd even claims that rydawg was a hack for all those years (17 years) until Todd educated him with his 15 months experience with the rotary. Then there is Scottwax. Just go and read some of Todds posts about Scott. Where were you to speak up for Scott? Or is that OK for only Todd to do but no one else? Even then, PD and Scottwax didn`t do anything. What this is about what Todd DID do wrong. Or do you think it is ok for him to push Blackfire products without others knowing that he works for the company?

Given the same amount of time, every single pro here can do what he does. What Todd has, that most don`t is the cars he gets to work on. But that doesn`t make you the BEST.

I can continue witth some more stuff, but it has to wait as I can`t sit here for too long. I do have a life outside of detailing I don`t even have a child.:goodjob

Tdekany - Interesting, I knew the drama with Scott but not Dawg. Scott is a stand up guy. This guy only wants people to see it from his point of view, anything else and he just plugs his ears and pretends he cant hear you. Todd did nothing wrong in his eyes and even what this guy admits Todd got in trouble for, he says there is no problem with it. It`s his mentality; his way is right and no one knows what they are talking about. I`ll post pictures, they look good but that wont mean anything, he`ll still think Todd was banned for no reason and me along with everyone else who thinks Todd is a waste is from another planet. What he doesnt know is Todd is just another drama case that has come and gone. I`ve been on this board since 2001 and I`ve seen a few of them. Sometimes it`s fun to argue and just see how stubborn some people can be, every so often they get really upset and start flipping out and thats always fun.

PresdntialDtail - If DavidB was so wrong to ban him and your Todd`s buddy then why do you still post on this board? Must not be a good friend. Ohhhhh check that out I got it right this time, David; not Brad. Take all your frustration out on a swirled up car you big bad detailer.

First of all, I did not say what Todd got banned for was WRONG, if it was true. I said he deserved it since he would have broken the rules of the forum. I just want you to show me these other allegations so I can see these things that you have been saying for myself. I am not close to Todd by any means, but why werent you guys saying all of this when he was on the board to defend himself? Once everyone sees he is banned, everybody comes out of the woodworks with bad things to say. I am not taking sides here, I just want to see the truth and whether someone accepts certain things or not is up to them. Dont worry, Ill be posting my frustrations out on this Audi I am about to work on... :sosad

The "info" that you say is posted everywhere, is people regurgitating the same old hearsay that everyone else is. There is no proof that Todd had multiple user accounts. I love how when people are asked to provide proof, they "don`t want to be in the middle of it", but they have no problem being in the middle of name calling, false accusations and defamation of character.

I`m going to clarify something. All of this BS about Todd backing down from someone is just that, BS! I was with Todd at DF. We saw Matt`s (AG) car and looked at the condition of the paint. It looked good. The next day, at the Meguiar`s class, Matt didn`t say anything to Todd. Todd saw Matt and was man enough to go over and say "Hey, I saw your car and it looks good. I may have said some bad things about you before, and I wanted to apologize." They shook hands and talked, and that was it. I can assure you that Todd didn`t back down from anyone. I don`t know Matt, but he seemed like a nice enough guy. If he has said otherwise, I encourage him to speak up. I`m sure that as usual, someone has misconstrued his story and twisted it around like everything else. I was there, in person. I saw it happen, I didn`t hear it from someone or read about it on the internet.

One other thing, everyone talking about us standing up for Todd.....he`s banned, he can`t defend himself! BTW, that`s what friends do, stand up for each other, although most of you would know nothing about that!

BTW, why is it that an unproven free for all bash session about Todd is completely allowed here but yet all of the stuff about Tyler (Holden C04) that was actually TRUE and verified with proof, was considered defamation of character and not fit for Autopia?

This thread has gone on long enough. Perhaps you should reread the forum rules on member bashing and language in those threads.

joed1228...congrats..you just earned a two week time out. This Todd Helme issue is over and done with. If you want to drag it out and and discuss it do it somewhere else.

Thomas I think your a great guy and a good friend. I am not sure where you got this information from (well I do know), but that is FALSE!!!!!!

Anyone that knows me IN PERSON knows that I am the farthest from a hack. I have lots of members here that I have done their cars and they were all blown away by my work.

Todd has always talked great about me and always looked up to me. There are a bunch of members on here that can even state the same truth. Todd has referred me a bunch of clients and all the clients that have called me have said that Todd spoke the world about me.

Do a search on here on Ryan Blanchette and rydawg and you can see the posts that Todd has spoken great about me. Also on other forums as well.

This is where Brian messed up telling lies and is now caught big time. The search button does not lie. He did not think about that.:p

Brian is very jealous of me because Todd always spoke the world about me. When i said I was gonna move down there, Todd said he would help me out in getting some great clients and I could do a bunch of jobs with him to help me establish myself.

I honestly know for 100000000%, that everyone is getting played like a puppet by Brian Brice and he is just sitting on his couch just laughing at everyone and all the drama that he created....

The thing that he is laughing at the most is..... he is not even a member and for very good reasons. All his s/n`s just got banned.

I honestly think it`s a shame that he got you and Scottwax involved. Honestly cause you two guys were top respected stand up guys.

Listen guys, make no mistake, I`m not running for president of Todd`s fan club. I`m not on anyone`s nutz, rather I`m on the a$$es of people here stirring poop when it`s unwarranted. Some say that Todd`s arrogant and this and that, but thus far he`s been a gentleman with me, so I have nothing against him. Tyler on the other hand, I had a personal problem with. I knew almost immediately that he was a poser after reviewing his website with the $5,000 car wash, 60+ stage detail, the highlights on Swissvax and it`s hand-application and by watching his erratic polishing techniques on YouTube. I wasn`t hard to figure out that he was a Paul Dalton wannabe who got a buffer for his birthday and decided to deem himself pro. I figured all this out more than 1 year ago, but decided that it`s not my place to call his bluff because eventually he`ll be exposed for what he really is(n`t). I told one person about him and that was Bence. When he finally flubbed up, yes I had some words about it on the forums, but again, I have a personal problem with him and I stated my opinions and that was that, but I did NOT try to bring him down by making accusations about him despite my opinion of him.

Now it`s been mentioned that Todd doesn`t have the experience or "time served" to be in the position that he`s in. I don`t know how long he`s been detailing, but "time served" has no correlation with skill and aptitude. I`ll use myself as an example. I earned my first black belt in Ninjutsu in just under 1 year. Now, there were a lot of people angry about that (especially the one`s who`d been there for 3 years or more and still didn`t have theirs), but that`s something that I worked VERY hard on to do. I was dedicated, I had a passion for it and I am good at it. I haven`t been active for more than 2 years now because of working on my career and other things, but when I go back, I`ve already been told that I`ll be eligible to go to Japan for my 5th dan test... I`ll be skipping my 4th dan test all together. So if I haven`t been there for 2 years and I go back and immediately take my 5th dan test, does that mean I`m not deserving or worthy of it? Some may think so, but I think not. So my point here is that what ever my position there may be or what ever position Todd may be in is for a reason. What ever he`s striving to be (world`s best detailer or world`s best rodeo clown it doesn`t matter)is HIS business. Is he deliberately taking work from you? Is he trying to hurt your reputation? No, I don`t think so. Let nature take its course; if he`s a charlatan, he`ll be discovered soon enough... but after all this time and he`s still detailing Ferraris?

"Why are you so concerned with all of this, Jesse?" you ask. Because it`s going to eventually affect me and the other detailers out there that do this for a living, that`s why. How? Because here`s ANOTHER scandal about impostor detailers that`s going to give all of us a bad rap eventually... but this time it`s just a "need more blood" scandal. Todd got banned for something that DavidB didn`t take too kindly to. Now him using click bots I can not comment on but it sounds a bit silly. For those of you who think that the 19,000+ clicks on this thread are a bit high, check out Clark`s clicks and comments on the Gallardo about 1/2 way down the page here Detailing World. More than 339,000 clicks and 260 comments... I suppose he`s using click bots too... For those of you who still think he`s doctoring his pictures

That doesn`t look very "doctored" to me because I can still see light swirls (sorry Todd, not trying to hem you up or anything). If you can`t see them, just blow the pic up a bit. We`re all human people and no matter how perfect you may think your details are, I assure you there`s still room for improvement regardless of who you are or who you think you are. Are my details 100% perfect? No not all of them, but they`re as close to perfect as I`m able to get them. Even on the Ferrari California that I did which took me 3 days, there were still small mistakes that my detailer`s eye caught under the showroom lights and no I`m not ashamed to admit that. To the average person it may look perfect, but to a scrutinizing eye, it`s not.

People, get on with your own lives, take care of your own customers and as long as they`re not affecting you leave people be no matter how much you`d like to bring them down... you`ll be a lot happier that way.

The best??? Come on man. There are many others on these forums with a lot more experience and skills. Todd is very good but not the best.

He did everything to hype himself. He wanted to be the next Paul Dalton. He should let his work do the talking.
