There is talk that some of his photos are fixed. Someone that Todd knows says some pics are fixed and some cars don’t look as good as his posts lead you to believe. Now with the bogus thread views, he just sounds fishy, who knows what else he`s up to. I dont really care man, he`s gone.



BradB gets paid by advertisers based on the traffic of this site; not imaginary traffic. That means he uses that cash to eat, pay his mortgage, buy clothes, pay into retirement and supply himself with an income to live. Brad probably doesn’t want some attention whore to ruin his life (suppose a few sponsors just drop Autopia, I’m sure he cant just pick up a few sponsors to replace them ASAP and times are tough, I’m sure his store isn’t selling like it was a few years back).



Todd knew the rules when he signed up and he broke them, Brad doesn’t want to upset any sponsors who pay Brad for traffic only to find out there is a ton less traffic than originally thought. Use your common sense and quit riding Todd’s sack. Todd knew the rules, Todd broke the rules and Todd suffered the consequence. Move on.



If someone was f*cking with your income I’m SURE you wouldn’t be so easy on them and what did Brad do, just let him know he cant post on ONE forum. Give me a break, if you don’t like it you can follow Todd around on all of the other boards he now trolls on.



P.S. By the way, I thought he write ups and 10,000 pictures were kind of nerdy. Give me a few befores, a few afters and let me know what you used. Dont act like you helped with the birth delivery of Jesus.

If you havent noticed, no one is getting upset that Todd was banned for the bots, your right it was wrong and you will get banned from any forum for doing so and he did get banned. Id like to know what "doctored" or "fixed" pictures actually means? Was it patching? Was it playing with the color levels? Was it just taking a picture in a manor that hides the defects? If you so keen on calling him out on it, then let the rest of us know what you know..

The guy has had a mouth behind a computer and after coming face to face with people at detailing meets he has backed on everything he said and changed his attitude when he noticed he was about to be turned into a pig skin. I have personally detailed a black F430 w/ Todd back in August of 07. I can 100% tell you that the correction was for real and what you see is what you get with Todd.



What we have here is another hater who is basing their comments from hearsay, they have never met Todd or worked with him.



If you want to find out the truth for yourself, pick up the phone and call Todd. I am sure you can find his # easy enough.

Anyone who claims who Todd has used bots to boast a silly view count is 100% wrong. People usually judge threads by the amount of replies, not views. If a thread has 1000 views and 10 replies, nobody gives it a second thought. Its a sad day when accuations become allegeded truth on the internet when someone has an adjenda.



As David Fermani has asked for in the past, I too would like to see some real proof of the accuations listed here.



The owner of this Gallardo has posted in this thread on how happy he is with the work that Todd did. Let that be the definititve conclusion on Todds work.

It was proven that the same I.P. kept hitting the post over and over and over again. How many times does the same person on the same computer need to read the same post each and every hour? If you look below this thread has "linkbacks" to 23 forums. So everytime that someone from another forum clicked on the link to this thread posted in that forum you get another view.



So lets say that there would only be 12k views if there are no linkbacks and you figure most folks that linkback don`t post as they are not members here. So now we are down to 80x read per post. Does that make you feel better?



I am still trying to find where it was proven as you claim. Thats right you read it on the net, it must be true.

Over time the comments and incidents I`ve heard about Todd make him look like a vagina trampoline. Everything is a lie though, the people who say he`s an internet tough guy but meet him and say he turns out to be a coward are all lying. The proof of computers with IP addy`s that just keep hitting his threads and link back to him are B.S. as well. Everything is all lies lies lies; Todd`s the greatest guy ever. The world woke up one day and decided there wasn’t much going on so an Area 51 type conspiracy against this douche canoe started with the intent of bringing him down to destroy his life. That’s what happens when you’re just that good at detailing cars; the god’s fear his mighty skill and turn the world against him. There can’t possibly be any other reason why people say he’s a ```` waffle. The more you defend Todd the more you sound like his sack swinger, I should get you a swing. You are obviously going to believe whatever you want to and your going to distort anything that is presented so whatever, go right ahead pal when it comes down to it he isn’t around anymore and that is fine with me.



All in all I don’t think he was any better than any of the other top 25 detailers here. Give anybody with minimal experience a garage full of detailing products and 40 – 80 hours and they’ll turn out something just as well. Let’s see what he does in 6 hours when he cant go into detail about the make and model of the brush he’s using to clean inside the lugnuts and how much tape he used to tape off the car. What a nerd, do you know many little Mexican kids would love to use that tape to make a Pinata!

It`s obvious that Todd was a well liked guy. I`ve heard he was also of great skill, which I do not doubt.



Speaking as a newbie/outsider:



I had no idea he was an employee of a company that sells the products he uses. He loved to promote Blackfire, so i figured maybe it really was that good and thought about buying some based off his suggestions as a detailer with no connection to the product other than using it. So come to find out that`s not the case and he works for a company that sells it very prominently. That`s just wrong right there, I`m sure it`s a good product, but frankly he should have made it obvious that he works for that company and his ranting about it was at least in some part marketing.



That`s the part that bothers me, he and his company were taking advantage of his skill and name to sell a product. There`s plenty of really good detailers on here that don`t do that, one of the great things about this forum is that you can ask people what they like, what has worked well for them, how they liked products, and get a real answer, not some sort of marketing hype post and shill behavior in general. When you`ve got people working for sellers and posting their opinions without any information given, it sort of reduces the credibility of the forum.



As far as the doctoring, well I don`t know. I do know that it`s not that hard to hide something like that with PS, just it doesn`t usually look as nice. That`s not to say it can`t be done, have you ever seen what people can do with pictures of celebrities etc? The views thing definitely seems suspicious.



But at the end of the day, IMO the biggest offense is betraying the trust of all the other members that trusted he was unbiased, and had nothing to gain from promoting a product.

Yea right, I bet there is next to nothing to make in the detailing supply biz unless your one of the top stores in the country and you sell quite a bit. DavidB was likely just protecting his small portion of the cash flow when he had to put the brakes on Todd. With the economy tanking and people trying to save money I bet it`s even harder to make cash now. Even I slowed down on placing those frequent 300.00+ orders just to try new stuff and I`m not exactly a role model when it comes to rational spending. Protect whats yours right?
