So picked up a new E30 earlier this week.

    The good: No rust

The bad: Paint about as flat and unglossy as a chalkboard

    The solution: Menzerna SIP

Before: Notice you can`t see any reflections and can barely see the camera`s flash!

After: Note the flash of the camera, and the tree`s and stuff in the background! Wish it wasn`t so overcast or you could see the difference a lot better.. Really looks like a new car now!

50/50 shot: Notice the side with the blue tape has been done, left side has not, and no thats not hazed wax/polish, thats how poorly the paint was neglected

Trunk reflection: Best shot I could get to show reflectiveness due to the overcast and gray sky...

Now back out to get a coat of wax on it before it starts raining!

awesome! It amazes me that people drive around with their cars looking like chalk.

Yeah, single stage paint FTW, and no, not a track car I hope to one day do the E30 Spec class, but for now I just drive them on the road.

Full pics soon, when I get done waxing!
