This car was handed down to the owner from her father who passed away. It has bee semi restored both on the interior and exterior. Interior had all new carpeting, but that was about it. Brand new (1 year old) paint job that came out 99% perfect....there were a few sanding marks below the clear that were not coming out unless I sanded, but the owner said NO! LOL car is garaged all the time and hardly ever driven.

I could only get a couple pics of befores highlighting the defects...this paint color was hard for me to picture given the lighting conditions - halogens showed a flawless finish before I even started, even in the garage with it being dark and closed up....I went out and bought halogens for this detail and didnt even use them...just pulled it in and out of the garage a few times to check the work.

Here is what the whole car looked like...halograms and RIDS, swirls galore and faded chrome everywhere...

here are the finals...98% defect free, chrome brought back 80% (stained and pitted/rusting in some spots)

Overall, it took 8 hours with the PC alone...I only had two PFW pads to use on the rotary, so I didnt want to deal with those gumming up on just the trunk lid, so I went through 8 5.5" orange pads and the PC....next time the rotary and PFW is getting used...:hairpull:hairpull:hairpull
