This was my FIRST attempt at paint correction. My truck is an 03 Silverado SS with 107,000 miles.

    The process:

    -Mothers Clay Bar

    -The Flex

    -Optimum Polish/orange pad

    -Optimum Polish/white pad

    -Red Moose Machine glaze/black pad

    -Moose Nuba wax/hand

-Topped with Zaino Z8 (will include my thoughts on this product later)

The Zaino Z8 added an EXTREME REFLECTIVE appearance. It looks nice but I am not sure if I like that look. The Z8 lacked in depth. Next time I wash my truck the LSP will be Duragloss Aquawax.

    Also truck mods are:

    22" SS replicas

    2/2 Drop

    BSER Rollpan

    Magnaflow high flow cats

    Flowmaster 40 series

    Corsa Tips

    K&N CAI

    8000k HID`s

    Kenwood double din

Oooo that is nice! Nice job with the black paint look very smooth and glass like. You have also made me start to think about the SS Silvy again now...thanks. I thought I had my mind made up about going for two other trucks. How has the SS been for you in its older age(mileage)?

That looks fantastic for having that many miles, a job well done my friend! Looks great. Personally, I am a big fan of Duragloss AquaWax, both of my black vehicles wear it and I love using it.

I just transferred the product from the original bottle to a US Plastics bottle with the chemically resistant sprayer, makes it so much nicer to use it!
