I have talked to a customer from nasioc about doing a one step polish/exterior detail on his 04 wrx. When I got there in the am I inspected the car and realized there were quite few RIDS, and heavy swirling. so I recomended him to do a 2 step inn order to bring the paint back to a high gloss. the only problem is that he was working from 9 to 5h30pm and this was the only time I would get for all the work (including a quick interior detail:vacuum, wipe down etc.).

    Product used:

    ONR wash

    p21 taw/wheel

    CG window

    CG pruple clay

    meg mild clay

    DP clay lube

    CG fade to black

    CG GR

    makita

    LC ccs orange, white, red+PWF

    Menz SIP+106

    pinacle souverain

    After the onr wash:

    wheels clean:

under the ligths you can see quite a few rids and swirls:

I was in a hurry so I didn`t have time to take a lot of pics but here

is 50/50 after one pass of orange/SIP I didn`t wipe all the polish residue

The hood befor and after one pass PWF/SIP few holograms most swirls are gone

Door panel after 106/white final inspection:

    after pinacle souverain/dusting:

I started at 9am and was done at 4h30pm with no lunch! and of course as I left early I forgot to have breakfast! I was dead at the end of the day. I promise the owner to do as fast as possible to keep the bill low.

when the owner came back the only thing I heard was holly sh*y! so I suppose he was happy with the results which is my motivation for doing this job the best I can and not eating all day!

Outstanding detail work . The paint just looks amazing . Congratulations on a terrific job . I own a WRX04 STI and I really like the look of that year 04-05 . Can not really say the same with the new type of body .

    Cheers , Jean Paul

get some megs 105...would have saved you some time...I used 105/orange/pc - poliseal/orange/pc on a navigator in less time with 95% perfection, including the roof!

nice turn around!!! nothing better than blacks...

toyotaguy: Thanks, I have 105 but after talking with the customer for a week he told me the paint was ok and he only wanted a one step ($)...

So I didn`t took my heavy artillery. My fault then in the am when I looked at the paint I strongly recomended two step and he decided to go with it.

a good thing about working in a business complex parking lot is that a lot of people during their break come and watch you work, ask qiestion about their cars and finally ask for a business card..

Great recovery dbesins, never leave the heavy artillery at home. Always bring your supplies because you never knows if you might need it. Great Job.......:usa
