I owed my friend Chris a detail for a long time, and his car definitely needed it. Lots of fine swirls, baked on brake dust, etc etc

    Process:

    -Wash w/Meguiars Gold Class

-Cleaned wheels and tires with Poorboy`s Spray & Rinse Wheel Cleaner, Poorboy`s Bold `N Bright on tires

-Spot clayed some areas with Wolfgang Elastic Poly Clay, but it didn`t really need it since he clayed it recently

-Compounded some problem areas w/1Z Intensive Paste + 4" LC cutting pad via Porter Cable 7424

-Polished the entire car with Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0 w/LC light cutting pad via Flex XC3401 VRG

-Polished again with Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 w/LC green polishing/finishing pad via Flex XC3401 VRG

(got in tight spaces with a 4" polishing pad and the PC 7424 as well)

-Diamondite Glass Restorer w/cutting pad, Diamondite Poli-Shield w/finishing pad...all with Porter Cable 7424

-Wolfgang Fuzion Carnauba Polymer Estate Wax by hand....gave the paint an AWESOME wet glow

I also let Chris take my car out and shoot some pics while I worked on his car.

    Swirls

    No wax present....poor car

    Cleaning wheels

    More swirls, before/after

    Using Diamondite

SOM is probably the best color they had for the F-body. Next to black of course.
