Today I did a detail on an `06 Laguna Blue Pearl S2000. It was in decent shape when I got it, but it did have a fair amount of swirls and it needed clay barred.

    Materials used:

    PC 7424

    Poorboy`s SSR1.0 w/ CCS Orange Pad

Menzerna 106FA w/ CCS White Pad

    Detailers Domain Microfiber Towels

    Meguiars NXT (my temporary synthetic)

    Lusso Oro Carnauba Wax

    Mother`s Mag and Aluminum Polish

    Stoner`s Glass Cleaner

    etc.

Here youll see the swirls that were in the paint before I began work, and the whole car was about the same as tis picture shows. This is after I washed it.

Once I did the swirl remover and Menzerna polish, I used Meguiars NXT and topped that off with Lusso Oro by hand (the warmth of your hands heats up the polish and helps it to bond better than using an applicator).

The door in this pic had just been hand waxed with Lusso Oro:

    And after:

And some (lack of) swirl shots:

    Trunk:

Polished the exhaust up too using Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish:

    Front:

    And inside:

    Thanks for looking,

    Matt

Great job. That is a great color, and your NXT/Lusso combination really brought the most out of it. Really nice job on the exhaust as well. The muffs really stand out.

Yea, I used the Mothers Mini Powerball to reach back there and polish it all evenly. Thats a really nice little tool, but it sure gets dirt fast.
