Still racking em up. I drove to LA and back on Sunday. I hit up a Legend meet while I was there.

As of right this very minute...

I can almost smell 350k!! This was taken just 5 minutes ago... finished up a quick wash.

Do it! You can find a nice 94/95 LS coupe these days for relatively cheap. It`s a lot of car for your money.

Difference is my car is much much younger. I don`t want to keep adding miles to it until it`s paid off (in 5 years!) :har:
I do mobile detailing for friends and family. Might not be the absolute best, but I do it for free.

I just had to go through this thread again. It`s great to see daily drivers maintained throughout the years. Has it made it to 400,000?

Wow! The car looks great and like everyone else, I`m stealing the Excel log. :goodjob

It`s amazing how many dealers have serviced this car. You seem to have had the car fixed in most of the southwest states!

    This is absolutely AMAZING!

    Just WOW!!!!

Have you done a compression test on the motor yet? I`d be curious to see the results. What about an oil analysis?

Wow, this got bumped up again! Haha. Here are newer pics.

Drove to New Jersey and back in November.

    Northern Utah - dirty.

    Cleaned back up in AZ.

With its 4-door "twin" at my new home (moved in ~3 weeks ago). My 4-door only has about 136k on it.

Yes, the car`s been in the southwest for most of its life. Here`s the updated last few services on the spreadsheet.

Never had a compression test done. Oil analysis - yes. Twice by Blackstone Laboratories.

Sample #1 was taken 12/29/06 at mileage 264,658.

Sample #2 was taken 12/20/08 at mileage 358,050.

4cruizn- Thanks for the update, I always like to see what`s up with you and that car

Heh heh, it`s service costs over the last year are almost as bad as a certain A8 I can think of (but that car only has ~90K on it- and I bet your four-door would put it to shame too ).

How often do you do the big items like the timing belt?

TB and WP every 90,000 miles or sooner.

And a radiator, which alone was a $500 part. All OEM parts and installed by an Acura technician who does work on the side. Timing belt isn`t due again until 418,000 so thankfully the expense doesn`t come around that often.

    Absolutely...

The Acura does look good especially for the age. Although, I do dare him to go 10,000 miles with out an oil change though. It really does looks like obsessive/compulsive oil change intervals. The most I have ever spent for an oil change is $20 and an hour of my time. If I am calculating this correctly, you have spent about $3,000 in oil changes. You must make a good salary to afford those prices.

P.S. Hope you enjoyed your trip through Pennsylvania. The State of Rust Welcomes You! Hopefully you are quick to wash the salt away like I am.

Over 20k spent on mantenience and repairs? I think with that kind of money you could keep any vehicle running for 300k miles.

On a cost-per-mile basis, keeping this car on the road doesn`t hurt my pocketbook any more than getting a new car every few years would. Plus this car`s still got more style and class than a lot of what`s on today`s showrooms IMO. Very few of my maintenance items have been non-routine. I`d love to see other examples of people who have achieved this kind of longevity, but it`s just not that common.

Last I checked, oil changes are due based on mileage OR time. 3,000 miles is 3,000 miles whether you put it on in 3 days or 3 months.
