Also, great work...i almost want to fly you down here to see if you can help my Buick...it`s in pretty bad shape.

Yep, PO8RD. It`s nice stuff; similar to 106ff but less cut.

I`m always up for a flight.

    cheers,

I think you`re the second person that`s asked, I must be kind of random.

No really though, it depends on a few things. I get a feel for what the customer is after in terms of looks, durability, ease of maintenance, etc; and I judge how long it will be before another LSP is applied and go from there. So if someone is going to go through the winter and do nothing I`ll use Z5pro, Z2pro, 476, Megs 16 or something or I will use a sealant and top it. If I know I will be seeing it again soon I will use a wax normally, and which one depends on the color of the car or the products the car will be washed with. It seems complicated but it`s not, I have basically ~8 lsps I use and I usually know which I will use on a car as soon as I start.

PO85RD has less cut than 106ff? I thought it was the other way around. I have been looking into menzerna polishes lately and thought i understood 106ff (nano?) as being less abrasive than po85rd (SIP?). Can you think twice and confirm, i`m really confused. I thought everyone was saying use sip first and then 106ff after.

On a side note...if i am correct above (which i doubt), would i see any benefit to going over 106ff or 85rd with the 87mc (micro?).

Disclaimer: I have tried to absorb all of this in a very short amount of time and i could have just fried my brain on the subject.

    SIP is not PO85RD, it`s PO83 3.01 or PO83Q. This: Menzerna Polish PO85RD Limited Supply!Free Bonus!

Now, I *have* seen some companies list SIP as PO85RD 3.01, which I believe is incorrect.

Is PO85RD, which has less cut but the same gloss as 106FF according to Menzerna. However, I, and others, agree that it finishes ever so slightly better on soft paints. If you can finish clear with PO106FF then, imo, there is no reason to use PO85RD, it`s for paint where 106FF doesn`t finish the way you want it to.

Here is the cut/gloss rating according to Menzerna, btw. (5 most, 1 least)

    SIP/PO83Q, cut 3.5, gloss 3.0

Power Gloss, cut 5, gloss 1.5

    PO106FF, cut 2.5, gloss 5

    PO85RD, cut 1.5, gloss 5

Great work! Looks like you have been very busy with some poorly dealer prepped cars.

That Vette is insane looking with the dragons and flames. I want it really bad.

    Geeze,

Seeing blue sky reflected off a red Mercedes`s paint...wow.

I like the M-coupe...one quirky beemer but for some reason strikes me favorably.

I originally went with the Britalman, but it`s too loud for my taste so I sold it and got a Bastuck with Einsenmann mid-pipes. It`s a good compromise of growly and aggressive, but respectable.

M6 reps? Man everyone and their mom has those (no offense M6 rep owners), plus they are reps and weigh a ton. Mine are 3 piece forged, 24lbs rear and 22lbs front. I`ve been thinking about swapping them with some one piece forged neez, but those are $$$.
