I don`t normally tape edges. It depends on the car though.

It depends, 90% of the time I pick based on what I think will suit the client best whether it`s durability, protection, ease of cleaning, or just plain looks.

Well it`s a preference thing of both me and my customers I find. For me, I prefer the look of the waxes, and I find it makes the cars easier to clean when I have to maintain them. It sounds stupid, but washing a car with concours or concorso or mystery etc tends to go much more smoothly in my experience. I do use sealants when I need long term protection though.

How long do you wait after z5 to apply souvergn? Do you find this causes problems with the durability of Z5?

I generally let Z5 sit for an hour or so after I buff it off. Applying Souveran on top *does* effect Z5`s durability in my experience, but not enough that it bothers me. I might lose a few weeks, but if I am topping the sealant it`s because I know I`ll be back to re-apply an LSP again before it`s gone, or the owner has asked me to.

    Thanks guys.

It was dirty for some, and clean for others. My wife wanted to do a photoshoot of it so I had to wash it :p

Cars look flawless; It`s almost not fun to look at your posts anymore as the afters just reflect new paint. Good to see business is good. What`s your winter look like? Indoor work?

Amazing work, some of those (the Saturn and the TR6 come to mind) were in tough shape before! My favorite car of the bunch has to be this E92 that kept cropping up in the back...

HTEC is a lot more abrasive than SIP, HTHC is a little more abrasive. You can find lots of info on them searching the site. I get them from top of the line.

    Outstanding work!

What is your deciding factor on your choice of LSP. I noticed you use a variety of LSPs, and don`t see a pattern of use i.e. black gets z5pro, silver Opti seal......

    cheers,
