Hello all, I bought this car as a Certified Pre-Owned Audi in March `06. After owning a dozen or so cars since 2000, this was by far the dirtiest vehicle I have ever seen. Since March I have spent many weekends simply prepping it for a good detail. I honestly believe the prior owner drove it up and down an interstate highway & NEVER washed it. Anyway, I was inspired by my neighbor, you all know and love him as "P1et", and with a lot of guidance from him, here is my weekend project.

Vehicle:2006 Audi A4 2.0T ~27000 miles, no proper detail or care to speak of to date.

    Process:

-Wash with CG Citrus Wash. (using the highly recommended shmitt)

-Clay vehicle with Mother`s Clay & Meguiar`s quick detailer as lubricant.

    -Wash with CG Citrus Wash.

    -Completely dry vehicle

-Apply layer of Z1 (yes, the old school stuff ---Thanks Piet!!)

    -Apply layer of Z5 pro

Let Dry & then Buff entire vehicle

-Apply layer of Z5 pro (wait 1 hour & watch Texas Longhorns lose to KState)

-Apply layer of Z2 (wait 3 hours)

    -Apply another layer of Z2

-Apply CG New Look Trim Gel

I let the vehicle sit for approximately 20 hours in my garage. Then I buffed the car using two MF towels. Here are the results. Not the best lighting conditions

Check out the reflection off the roof!

This is a very WHITE vehicle -with no pearl effect or metallic flake. However, when I look at it under florescent light in my garage I do see a slight pearl sheen. Maybe it`s the Zaino brining out the pearl in the paint or maybe it`s my eyes, but either way, I think it looks fantastic. Hopefully I can get some better pics in the days to come. I`ll get some pics of my 2005 Tundra when I get a chance to do a proper wash & Zaino (round two) Z5 & Z2. Feedback is very welcome. Thanks,

    Cody

Wow... Dunno why you`re not getting more views, but you really did an AWESOME job with that white color, it`s extremely reflective. With the crystal clear headlights/taillights and the perfect wheels.. It`s just perfect!

Damn Cody, those pics outside are even better than when I just saw it in your garage! Great choice on all product used and thanks for the detailed write up!

Show off that Tundra when you slap on your next coat of Zaino and we will take some pics with the Rebel XT...
