Bret and I detailed this 350z 6 weeks ago. It was dark out when we finished, so we returned to the location yesterday to detail a few other cars and finally got some good pics. We gave the paint/wheels a Z6 wipedown as it had only been driven once or twice.

17K miles on this vert with some bling-bling 20`s.

Custom audio system and a trick review mirror w/ 1/3 acting as the backup camera monitor.

She was pretty much a mess, owner said no protection ever applied to the paint.

So we started testing what would work on this paint.

    I did 2 passes with edge green wool/p1500/metabo 1500.

Bret followed with black foam/Menzerna P085/PC6.

Backed it outside to make sure that there where no buffer trails or holograms left:

Pardon the dust specs, even the area where we did not use P085 at had very little holograms.

    So the paint process was:

    Wash and clay.

    I did 2x edge green wool/p1500/metabo 1500.

Bret followed with black foam/Menzerna P085/PC6.

    3x of ZFX`d Z5pro.

    Z8 wipedown.

Bret did the interior while I applied the Z5pro

    Vac with metro

Wiped down all interior with 1Z Cockpit Premium.

    Z9/10 on leather seats.

    Wheels got ZAIO

    Tires got Z16

    Final outside pics from yesterday:

I`ve never been a fan of chrome wheels but black cars can pull it off nicely, especially now on that car! Stellar work boys.

The wheels would look nice if it wasn`t a convertible. Nice detail though. Def. on point.

Never seen 20`s look so small. They look more like 17`s in those pics. Great job on the detail though. The black is back and shiney. The interior nice and clean and not to shiney. (although in this case the extra shine might have been wanted to expand on the "bling bling" HAHAHA!)

Agreed those rims don`t look that great and are definitely holding that thing back. I also personally hate windshield stickers.
