This is some before and after for probably one of the most common problem areas of this style mustang... the rear third brake light lense. I don`t know if I`ve seen a mustang this style without a crapped out lense. I guess it is the material.

    Process:

    • Wet sand with 400 grit
    • Wet sand with 1000 grit
    • Wet sand with 2000 grit
    • Polish with ScratchX on a LC orange pad on rotary at about 1,200 rpm

    After:

Ha...I wonder if that was some mistake where they specified the same material they use for the CHMSL that`s in the rear window--where it gets a lot more UV protection behind the glass.

That`s what I am guessing because just about everyone I`ve seen is like this one or worse. Unless they are garaged. Hopefully the two coats sealant (DG #101 + #105) and AW every once in a while will protect from happening again.

Yeah I think that is key (garaged). I think these lenses do not like UV rays.
