GREAT JOB on the car! Welcome to the boards. I work for a pre-owned BMW dealer and that keeps me busy. He buys BMW`s coming off lease at the auction and I recondition them (paint and interior) before they hit the showfloor.

I also use 3M Perfect-It, Ultrafina (lots of oily splatter...but it really is nice on black cars), a DeWalt and a Metabo buffer (hint: the Metabo is a bunch easier to handle than a DeWalt. It`s approx 40% lighter).

Enjoy the forums and post pictures of your work. I`ve got a bunch of threads on here on BMW`s (especially black) so do a search.

Did you find the paint on the hard side? I did a red one a while back and it really didnt want to be corrected. That car looks great...ESPECIALLY when you consider a time crunch!

Nice job on the Jag! She is a real looker but unless they are "R" versions they are bit boring (lousy seats, suspension and underpowered). Just my .02. Still a sweet looking car and a nice job especially considering how little time you had with it.
