This is an 1995 E36 Cosmos Black M3 that needed some love. I did the interior as well but never got around to taking pictures...Started at around 10:00 and barely finished before 9:00 at night. I`m beat. This car is also for sale if anyone is interested, low miles (I believe 45K) and asking 12.9K.

    Process:

Wash with Foam Gun + Shmitt

Clay with Claymagic (I found an unopened bar that I had forgot about)

SSR 2.5 via LC Orange on Rotary at 1700 RPM

SSR 1 via LC White on Rotary at 1700 RPM

    DP Maxwax

Too bad I couldn`t get any sun pictures

    Before:

    Swirls -

    Headlights -

    During -

    Headlights -

Polished on the left, untouched on the right.

    Swirls -

    Finished:

    Cheers!

I know what you mean about being beat. I spent 14 hours doing my 528i with a P/C and it still is not perfect.

Good work! That thing took forever.

It cleaned up nicely though. Major color change in the paint too! :up

    Looks great!

Do you know if the car has been winter driven? Any rust on the body?

I am looking at selling my 328is and getting an m3. I was thinking more along the lines of a 98-99 model, located in California or somewhere else where they don`t salt the roads.

That`s my car! Andrew thanks again. The mileage is actually 65k miles and no the car was not driven in the winter, nor would I recommend anyone to drive it in the winter. It might be ok with snow tires.
