The car has about 19k miles and the owner takes great care of it. He brought it to me looking for a deeper shine and a good polishing.

Here`s a quick pic of the car before I touched it (sorry for the quality, it was late when it was dropped off):

I washed with Meguairs Gold Class and then clayed the car down with Sonus and much to my surprise, this was the result:

So then I decided to put the car under the lights to see how much swirling and marring was present:

So I proceeded to polish with PO106ff and an orange pad throughout. Some areas received Meguiars #81 first and then were followed up with 106ff afterwards.

    Hood before:

    Hood after:

    Fender before:

    Fender after:

Some pics after polish was complete:

I layered two coats of Pinnacle Souveran and then the car was taken out to see the after results:

Here is an interior shot. Interior was vacuumed and wiped down with a Poorboys Natural Look and then carpets cleaned as well. Leather was treated.

Overall, it was a great car to work on. The body is in beautiful shape, the Volks were perfect on the car and the exhaust note is the best I have heard on the G35.

Excellent job removing the swirls, makes the car look eleventy billion times better! :goodjob

That soft clear on the black G35s is a mixed blessing-easy to correct but so hard to keep swirl free.
