Well, this sweet ride belongs to my friend Chris. He`s an Autopian in the rough (but think I fully converted him today). He recently bought this `03 530i with about 42K on the clock--very clean car to start with, so no "befores" but we did get rid of some fallout and overspray that it had picked up in it`s former life and then proceeded to add some depth & wetness.

    Process:

QD (it was washed yesterday but had been driven once)

Clay with Clay Magic claybar & lube

1st Pass-HD Products Crystal Polish (local supplier, this is a mild cleaner/polish) on Sonus DAS green pad, remove w/ 100% cotton terry cloth

2nd Pass-NXT on Sonus blue pad, remove w/MF

Eagle One tire dressing (didn`t pay close attention--he had it and likes it).

I`ll mark this one up as another example of great results with OTC products.

Couldn`t get any full sun shots that didn`t fake the camera out--and ignore that haze on the right edge of a couple of shots as it was a smudge on the lens. Super-clean car and a dirty camera lens....go figure!

    Miller Lite for the afternoon-$15.00

    Tank full of premium gas-$45.00

Hey guys--yeah, at first I thought he was nuts wanting to go in there for photos, but it did make for some good shots. Then of course, there was the ride back to his house--trust me, the laws of physics say that no dust could still have been attached ANYWHERE on that car! All stock, but that thing is like a rocket on rails!

Seriously though, we had very minimal dusting on the car from there and lost a lot going home. His wife took off in it right away (her daily driver) to run errands when we got back but it will get a bath tomorrow night to ditch some minor residual oily streaks from the NXT as well as any remaining dust.
