These is my first post, and these are pics after a quick wash and a coat of Sonus Carnuba Spritz. I have a full arsenal waiting to go on once the weather gets a little bit warmer.

So here they are (be nice)

    Download the free image optimizer.

Looks good from what I can see but having to scroll across and down to see the pics doesn`t do justice to your work.

Looks good man. I would reccomend some Eagle One Nevr Dull and Mother`s Aluminum Polish for those exhausts tips, though.

And get in between the corners of the rims! I see brake dust! If it won`t come off you need ot polish it out or clay it out.

Just some helpful criticsm to improve your details!

Thanks for the comments and I will fix the picture size.

I ran out of wheel cleaner and that is what I use on the exhaust tips usually, but I`ll check out the other stuff too.

Anyone else catch the the huge maring in the middle of the hood?

Polish the exhaust tips and clean the wheels. Other then that great job on the paint!

It`s hard to tell from the pics but it looks like you have wax/polish in all of the crevices of the car, Where the body panels meet, your tow hook cap on the back bumper, your key hole on the rear trunk. If it`s not I apologize but the pictures definately show some white pastey stuff in there! There is a big marring spot on the hood as well right in the center as one of the previous members stated it looks like. Other than that the finish looks good!

Thanks for all the input. Yeah, the pics are def. too big, when I do a more complete detail I will make better sized pics.

    yeah, i missed some wax.

The hood is in bad shape because the car is my daily

I will do a better, more complete job next time. I have Sonus SFX-2, Klass AIO, Menzerna FTG, and P21S wax standing by to go on

    Nice reflections, very nice depth!

I love those vehicles and if I were able to find one that`s relatively new under 15k and under, I would so buy one.

Judging on the rear plastic window on the convertible top, this is a 2000 or 2001, right?

It is an 01. They hold their value pretty well, but I`ve seen a few w/ higher mileage go for around 16k.

Also, I fixed the image sizes

I am not sure what that streak or mar on the hood is. I will have to go back and have a look. I will get the wax out of the body panel seams. I was moving a little fast when I washed it.

Thanks for all the compliments. There are a lot of very talented people on here and it gives me something to strive for.

Hats off to a fellow S2K owner... Nice AP1... Do just as the others suggested and you`ll be near perfection And don`t use that Daily driver excuse, there are plenty of us that use these as our DD`s

As a matter of fact, I actually bought my S2K in MD, rockville to be exact.

Thanks for the encouragement. I know it being a DD is no excuse. I attacked it with Klasse AIO over the weekend with good results. Next weekend I will try out Sonus SFX-2 and Menzerna FTG.
