Well the brother and I are getting things started as spring is slowly moving to our area. So we`re getting more cars lined up for the next couple weeks. So expect a rash of click and brags as we start winding up for the spring / summer.

This weekends detail is a 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe M6 version. So it`s got the sport suspension, Brembo brakes, the upgraded rims etc.

The owner just purchased it used from a fella who just had it sitting for the last 6 months or so. We will be doing our "platinum package" on this vehicle, but we started we spent almost 7 hours of the interior today bringing up to litterly new condition. Not a nook or cranny was missed, even the plastics behind the rear seats were cleaned and dressed.

We gave it a quick wash @ the end of the day before the owner picked it up, but the interior it where our focus was.

    Process looked like so:

    Full Interior Vacuum

    All Windows Cleaned (Stoners IG)

Plastics & Vinyls Cleaned (Woolite Mix with Steamer)

Plastics & Vinyls UV Protected (Optimum Protectant Plus)

    Leather Cleaned (Lexol Leather Cleaner)

    Leather Conditioned (Lexol Leather Conditioner)

Leather UV Protection (Lexol Leather Conditioner)

Interior Carpets Shampooed & Extracted (Oxyclean Mix via LGCM)

Interior Floormats Shampooed & Extracted (Oxyclean Mix via LGCM)

    TOTAL TIME: 7 hours.

    EXTERIOR:

Wash via Foamgun and Edge Smitts

    Wheels Cleaned

    Tires Degreased & Dressed

    Windows cleaned w/ Stoners IG.

Here are BEFORE/ DURING /AFTERS Photos.

    BEFORE

    DURING

    AFTER

EXTERIOR (We did just a quick wash before the owner picked it up)

I will update this thread next weekend when we do a full cutpolish on it.

I will also have a 03 350Z that I`ll be doing next weekend as well, so I`ll post up my process for that as well...

Wow, great turn around! How did you like the Optimum Protectant Plus? How did you apply it (spray onto pad and wipe or spray onto panel?) What type of applicator? Any streaking? P>S what type of soap in the foam gun?

I`ve been using OPP for sometime on both my vehicles and clients vehicles. I find it gives the same sheen as 303, but with a slightly more attractive scenet (imo) and I guess that`s sort of objective....

For applying it, I do it a few ways, if im doing an entire door panel i`ll spritz the door panel and then with a microfibre towel apply it evently over the rest of the panel. If Im working in say the top of a dash where I don`t want to get it on the interior glass I`ll spray it onto an applicator and then wipe it on that way... Also I`ve never had any problems with the OPP streaking, I simply love the stuff!

For the foamgun, the soap is "DP Xtreme Foam". It`s available from Autogeek, I bought a tub of the stuff since it works so well. I`ve tried lots of different soaps in the foamgun but I`ve never found anything that clings and provides as much lubrication as the DP Xtreme Foam.

Thanks for the help! Terry or MF applicators? Also, any need to buff afterwards?

MF Applicators and MF Towels. There`s usually no need to buff afterwards unless you put a little too much on. It`s definitly my go-to product for interior dressings/UV protection. Easy to work with and customers always love the smell...

It`s a Euro-Pro Shark Professional Steamer......It was about $250 when I bought it originally..It pumps out some really hot steam, and works great for breaking down some stains and removing tough grime. I also use it a lot of engine bays as well. It`s been really versatile for me.

What dilution ratio are you using on the foam gun? How long do you let it dwell on the surface before mitting?

P.S. Sorry for all the questions, its been awhile since I have been on Autopia!

Ahah that`s ok, I don`t mind ansering questions.

I`ve got the Pinnacle Half Gallon foam gun...I fill it up closer to the top and then put in 2 ounces of the DP Xtreme Foam Gun Concentrate....I set the "foam ratio" the highest setting it goes. I can do a large truck on this setting and still have a decent amount left by the end..

I usually start (if it`s not really sunny out) by pre-soaking the entire vehicle with foam. Then I blast each panel as I mitt it (I use the Edge Schmitts).

I hope this answers your question!

That`s what I was thinking too. The first shot of the cupholders made me cringe haha.

Yah they are....Im assuming it`s due to the lighting changing throughout the day. It was quite bright when I took the first couple before pics and the sun was starting to set by the time I took the afters. So I had much less exposure on the afters.

The leather did darken up though after it was cleaned. A noticable amount, but not as much as the pictures show. Again it was mostly due to the lighting conditions.
