I just received a PC a few days ago and decided to practice on the trunk of my winter beater, a 1990 Chev Beretta.

    Products used:

    Orange light cutting pad + M1, M2, and M80

I know that M1 and M2 are for rotary, but I had some lying around.

M80 wasn`t doing too much on it`s own and I didn`t feel like driving

    to the store for M83

Black buffing pad + Black Fire Gloss Enhancing Polish

Hand applied: Left side: Polycharged BF Wet Diamond All Paint Protection

Right side: BF Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection

I`m curious about the difference between the Polycharged and not-Polycharged

I`m not doing the rest of the car because (1) it`s only my winter beater (2) there`s too many chips, peeled paint, and a bit of rust showing through that it`s not really worth it; and (3) I`m doing my `05 Mustang next weekend.

Based on the practice session I`m thinking that my Mustang should be good with a once over with a White polishing pad + M80, Black finessing pad + BF GEP, and a hand app. of PolyCharged BF WDAFPP

The weather forcast doesn`t look good, but you never know. They`re not all that accurate 5 days out. I`ll probably start a new thread when I get the Mustang done.

Thats funny I was just going to post the same thing! I have the same flash light with the crank, I to have used it to inspect my paint. It actually works pretty good and is very convenient!

Yes, that`s an LED flashlite with hand crank for power. It hi-lites swirls nicely, no?

I did not get to do the Mustang due to snow :hairpull: ... hoping for sunny weather this weekend.

heavy snow again today. More in the forecast. Looks like it will be the 31st at the earliest.

    EDIT:

March 31: more snow. I can`t believe it.

April 1: cold and windy. Grrrrr....
