    Decided to take a break with the car and focus on the shoes (and MAN were they dirty) After walking around downtown NY after it had snowed in these things, they were covered in a nasty film of residue. Don`t have any before pics, but here are the afters.





    Products used:

    Kiwi Black shoe polish

    100% cotton cloth

    In all seriousness, those look brand new! maybe some rubber dressing on the sides of the bottoms?

    Nah, just a light buff before applying the wax, sometimes a quick hit with a damp cloth if really dirty(like today). After that, just wax on, buff in, and wipe clean. Voila! Shoes that look brand new.



    The microfiber sounds like a good idea. I may try some Optimum Compound next time too (damn German shoes!) :lol
