    Hey guys,

I had put out a reminder email to all my friends about detailing cars and got a few people that didn`t even know. So a buddy called and said that his truck needed to be detailed. I told him no prob and scheduled it. I picked it up Friday night and got started first thing Saturday morning. I had gone by the spray wash and done the wheel well with their degreaser so there would be one less thing to do in the morning. The rest of the process is as follows:

    Wash w/Dawn

Simple green on the rims cuz I was out of wheel cleaner

Clayed the entire truck including glass and chrome (This took about an hour. Lot of $hit on this paint)

    Washed again

    Dried with leaf lower

Polished w/OP using LC yellow pads

    2X DG #105

    1X AW

Degreased engine w/Simple Green and dressed with DG TMD

Interior cleaned w/DP cleaner and protectant

    All glass done wtih Stoners

Carpet stains removed with Megs "Pink" carpet cleaner

Went from 9AM - 5PM Saturday and from 1030AM Sunday to almost 2PM. This one took a while. There were a ton of swirls in the paint. Shrub scrapes down both sides. The interior was covered wtih everything from dirt to XMas wreath needles. Plus they have two dogs (One is a Bull Mastiff) that pretty much do whatever they want...are you gonna argue with a dog that size? LOL!! Took it back to the customer on Sunday and he was very happy with the results. Thank God!!

    So here`s the pics!

It hurts me to see that people take such poor care of their cars. But what a great transformation!

    Nice work.

I like the look on the tires .... just the right amount of sheen but not too much bling-bling. And clean looking too.

What were your process and products?

I used Megs Endurance Gel through a spray bottle. Comes out nice and fine and leaves just the right amount on the tire.

No MF shorts.......I just had some very soft cotton shorts on. I had to wash that car later anyway...........
