***This will take a litle while for me to post becasue of the limitations on images, so just give me a minute or two***

This was a pretty busy weekend for me—an all-nighter combined with a few “all-dayers†really tested by body. I made it though---with help.

The first vehicle was a huge, black Hummer H2—this guy drove in from Jackson, TN to have his truck detailed. Josh @Extreme referred this gentleman to me—THANKS Josh!

The truck has seen its fair share of off-road duty, but the interior was fairly clean. The outside needed a bit more helpâ€..it took about 3.5 hours to wash and clay this monster.

    Wash

    Clay

    Wash

    Degrease/dress (Hyperdressing 4:1) motor

Dress wheel wells (eagle one pro water-based dressing)

Buff with Optimum hyper compound (new formula, rotary 1500 RPM’s/Meguiars polishing pad)

Polish with Menzerna final polish II via PC @ speed6

Seal with two coats of Zaino Z5RO (zfx)

Tires dressed with no touch foam

Interior was vacuumed, shampooed, extracted, steamed(all using APC 10:1), then wiped down with Meguiars interior QD

The trim is dressed with Hi-Temp bumper restorer

    Before:

    A little smile for you

Next up was another huge black vehicle—this time, a dually. I had forgotten how large these trucks are—lots of real estate to deal with.

The owner of this truck drove in Nashville to have his truck detailed. Very nice couple, they toured the city while I detailed their truck.

The paint was rough—very heavily marred. The interior also had issues—the previous smoked in the truck—a lot. I had to do a bit of odor removal, but it came out great.

    Wash

    Clay

    Wash

    Degrease/dress engine (Hyper dressing 4:1)

Buff with Hi-Temp Extreme Cut/Optimum polish

Buff with Menzerna final polish II

    Zaino Z5PRO (zfx)

Tires dressed with Meguiars All-Season dressing

The interior was a little different. After steaming every surface in the truck, we used an odor eliminating carpet cleaner on all upholstery (including the headliner), then extracted with hot water. We then steamed the vents for from the external intake, the interior return, as well as the actual vents on the dash. After steaming them we fogged them with a product by Dakota called “non-smoke.†The interior was also dressed with Meguiars #40.

    This was after washing:

    All taped up:

    Under the lights:

These were the only pics that turned out—it was dark by the time we finished.

    Same panel, but close up:

How about this for a pic that shows nothing? Sorry, it was just too dark.

Finally, the BMW—very nice car, just needed a little TLC. I have done work for this customer before and it is always a pleasure—very nice folks, nice facilities, and an overall pleasure to do business with.

For this BMW the process was:

    Wash

    Clay

    Wash

    Degrease/dress engine (Hyperdressing 4:1)

Buff with optimum polish via rotary

Buff with optimum polish via PC (pad misted with optimum wax), removed with optimum wax

Sealed with Meguiars Gold Class (new formula)

Applied one coat of Optimum polymer wax

Tires dressed with Meguiars Hyper dressing (1:1)

Interior was vacuumed, cleaned with APC (everything), steamed, then dressed with Amsoil leather and vinyl conditioner

Wheels were sealed with 4* UPP

You know something, most times products look a lot different in person than they do in pictures, but the pics showing the tires dressed, is exactly how Meguiars Hyper Dressing looks in person once dried and setup.
