So I received some new products and went to town. I had to strip off my P21S first.

    - Sprayed tires and wheel wells down with DP Exterior Cleanse All: great stuff, removed everything from my tires and wheel wells.

    - Cleaned rims with DP Wheel Gel: I had new tires installed and the mechanics got grease and stuff all over my rims (besides scratching my rims). This gel took it straight off with just light aggitation with OXO wheel brush

    - Foam gun and ShMITT with DP Extreme Foam: Foamed like crazy (see picture) and had no problem removing dirt from the car. Pretty slick, but not that much better then NXT. I have to try NXT with the foam gun to see if the DP is worth the extra cash.

    - Dried with Ult. Guzzler

    - Cleaned glass with DP Krystal Vision: Best glass cleaner I have ever used and worked great with the Cobra WW glass towel

    - Dressed tires with Pinnacle Black Onyx: Great shine and super easy to apply with Cobra tire dressing pad

    - Trim with PB trim restore

    - Klasse AIO windows, paint, and lights

    - Sealed paint with DP surface shield: Super easy to put on and even easier to take off. Paint was super slick afterwards. Let sit for 12 hours.

    - Pinnacle Souveran: First time I tried it and it is so easy to put on and take off. It has been cloudy and rainy for 3 days here and I have avoided driving the car. I want to sun to come out so I can see how good it looks.

    - Dressed engine plastics with PB TR

    Now the pictures:

This is after spraying with the foam gun and then sitting for a few min while I find my camera.

I`m not really sure. I haven`t sprayed it on the street because I will have no traction. I am waiting for time to get to the track. I know a kid spraying a 75 dry shot through his and he looses traction at 60 on the highway. I am spraying a 150 wet shot, so it might be a bit dangerous on the street.

It should be good for mid 11s though. Assuming I can do my part. :dance

I have to agree with that. I drove one and broke the tires loose many times. I figure you could be a drift king with that car and the juice!

    In other words -be careful.

If the GTO had a slightly more aggresive styling I think a lot more people would be looking at them, including me. 11`s with just a wet shot? Beautiful color.

I`ve REALLY had to hold myself back from pulling the trigger on getting one of these

(6 speed with 18`s). With the Red Tag sale going on, some people are getting some VERY good deals on these.

I absolutely LOVE the spoilerless look with the VX tails... I think it`s how the car SHOULD look... very clean & sleeper-like.

Nice job on the detail. The impulse blue looks awesome.

The spice red would be my number 1 choice, followed by the brazen orange & impulse blue. Just don`t know if I want to give up having a convertible, & the mustang GT is PAID FOR. Plus, it`s another (bigger) pile of money sitting in the garage depreciating 5 or 6 days a week. Would make a nice christmas present, but am thinking of doing an AC Cobra replica in the next few years & could use the funds for that. Decisions, decisions...

For power adders yes. I have some minor suspension work to get the power down. Plus some sticky drag radials and it should be no problem. Plenty of people are running low 13s stock. Some people with autos have run 12.9s stock (street tires).

If you do a swap with original Holden (Monaro) parts, then it`ll look even better! (more aggressive).

Regardless, I really love GTOs. You definitely did a great job with that one! :2thumbs:

Mickey Thompson drag radials will solve that

I have a set of extra rims ready to go for MT drag radials. I just need to build up my "broken drivetrain parts fund". I know those tires are pretty much the grippiest thing around.
