Just a quick wash with Zaino Grand Finale:

(The car currently has about 8 coats of ZFX`ed Z2)

I`m thinking about some Pinnacle Souveran on top - Would that work?

Let me know what you think...

Don`t top with souveran. It will not improve the look.

    My opinion..

    Top it with some Z5.

Car looks excellent as is. Although I have not used Zaino, many will agree the best topper for it is Z-8, not another carnauba.

Looks great but can you post more and larger pics?

I`d just hit it with Z8, it`s perfect for that color.

Same here do not hit it up with a nuba wax. I have Zaino on my 325 and love it. The car is never dirty, well it is, but it looks nice.

Well Steel Grey is one of the Best BMW colors ever, so yea it shines more.

No, I don`t rub it in more, I have a Porter Cable polisher and all the needed polishes and tools.

This is RMG with IW 845

    This is OCW

The shine is the PREP! Polish, polish, polish, and more polishing. Then, when it`s perfect, wax or seal it. Too many people think that loading on LSP`s will give you the desired look. A surface that is polished perfectly with one LSP, will look 1000x better than an imperfect surface with 8 coats of LSP. Sorry for my rant, but there is the answer.

100% Correct. Here`s a 530i that I am working on. Used Optimum Compound with lots of polishing (hours) and ONE coat of Klasse AIO. It`s all in the prep! I`ll put a coat of M21 when the car is delivered for a final LSP.

I used a Festool Rotex 150 FEQ which is a German tool and switches from random orbital to rotary and it does an exceptional job. Used the random orbital until I encountered scratches, then switched to rotary to remove.
