This car was in new condition besides some slight hazing, so it didn`t require any heavy polishing. The person who bought the car lives out of state, so it was being shipped to him on an enclosed car trailer. The process was very simple.

    My process:

    Washed exterior

Buffed exterior with Optimum polish using a polishing pad @ 1400 rpm

Werkstatts Prime by hand to complete exterior and wheels

    Werkstatt`s AJ by hand

    Topped with OCW

Dressed tires & wheel wells with Super Blue Dressing

Meguiar`s Quick Interior Detailer on interior vinyl & leather

    I only use 1 coat.

I use a half-moon shaped sponge for an applicator which works well.

Similar lines and tail light assembly to the 4th gen Honda Prelude :grinno:

That red interior is a little in-your-face!

Nice job on the detail, you`ve become the guru exotic car detailer, must be weird working on anything less...lol :xyxthumbs

I actually really like this car, sure I`d take a Ferrari over it; but I actually think the interior is nicer than the Ferraris. The Maserati has a little more flavor inside, I`ve always found Ferrari interiors to be bland.

I thought the poor man`s ferrari was a Pontiac Fierro.

Rick Rack, I love your work. What size/brand of pads do you use with your rotary? I`ve been using the Lake Country/Wolfgang Curved Edge Full Contact 7.5" Foam Pads. They`re pretty effective but a little finicky. I`m wondering if there`s something else I should try.
