Do you get much time to sleep? Looks like you`ve got a fleet to keep maintained. Nice work.

Actually each car gets washed every week. Normally set aside one night and get a big bucket on ONR and just work my way down the garage. Plane gets cleaned once a month and waxed every 2-3. Charge 30 bucks a week for washing the cars and 40 when my broher is in.

My dad speaks alot for MGMA about pay for performance of doctors and HMOs. So he flies about once a month for that. He also justs takes it up on nice days. He has his CFI and I plan to get my liscense next year. However an A36 is extremely hard to learn on because it is very responsive. Basically the porsche of small aviation so Im not sure if Im going to get my instrument rating on ours. We leave saturday for SC to the BMW Driving Center for a guys week.

What year is that Beech Bonanza, and how many hours on it?

You have an advantage getting your private pilot ticket. Will your dad give you free ( or almost free) lessons?

I am halfway to getting mine.. it`s a long term project. Contrary to popular belief, it does not take fuel and good weather to fly.. it`s time and money! :werd:

I am learning in a Cessna 172; the cost for an hour flight lesson is $145 an hour.

Fuel at the airport is $5.40 a gallon for low lead 100 avgas, oil is $6 a quart.

Does your family pay you to maintain their vehicles? My parents insist on paying me if I do their cars (unless I give them a birthday detail), although lately my Dad has been taking care of them since he isn`t working as much as he closes in on retirement.

    All look really good.

Gonzo903 - Im not sure I believe its a mid 80s but I can find out later.

Scott - My dad pays me 30 dollars a week to keep everything in the garage clean. Basically wash the cars and sweep out the garage every week. He also leaves it to my discretion when a vehichle needs more. He does pay me the extra on those, but I dont charge him or expect full price. He justs notices and says I saw you working on the car and writes me a check. My mom thinks Im crazy because some nights shes heard a noise at 3 in the morning and it ends up being me polishing the car in the garage. The plane on the other hand I do charge him, but if he comes out and helps I cut it in half reguardless of what he does. Here is 2 pics of todays work. Im saving the rest for another thread about planes.

The old man himself, turned 51 on the 3rd.

As I was working one of my clients set out for a flight. Not a bad view.

Sorry about the small pic I left my camera setting on small possible and forgot to change it back. Ill get pictures Sunday out in the sun.
