Some months ago.....I think in December.....I went and detailed this GT http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?t=64880. I applied OCW to it but in a few spots (roof and front hood) I first applied the beta Optimum Sealant and I took a few pictures of those areas after I washed and rinsed it.

Again the sealant doesn`t leave much for slickness or gloss but it sure is durable. I applied it to a Maserati hood, in a few "streaks", and those streak areas are still going strong...about 7 months later. So to make up for the gloss and slickness I am applying OCW on top of this sealant but the Maserati has no OCW on top of it. If I can I`ll take some pics of the Maserati hood tomorrow.

What water is left after being rinsed just blows right off with my blower. If you`re using conditioned water for your rinse then drying is a pleasure.

I also have a few interior pictures of the GT.

    Thanks,

    Anthony

I test products for them, and other companies as well. I help Optimum out at shows and such but I am not on their payroll.

I will though in the future.....very close future now, be an official distributor and at that time my place here at Autopia will perhaps cease.

Really? Why do you have to stop posting if you become a distributor (as long as it`s clear that you are one)?

Looks great Anthony. Do you have any exterior shots of the whole car?

Well...I may not really have to as I do still use Hi-Temp and also Menzerna stuff but let`s just say that I will surely be on a "shorter leash" so to speak :chuckle: which is cool with me.

I may also see if I can buy some sponser time on Autopia as I really do like the community and all.

Thanks for wanting me to stick around though

As for the interior of the GT.....very sparse, no carpet, cool push button start, very snug seats that really hug your sides and low head room. I got my hair caught in one of the doors as I closed it

And yea, that speaker lets you know it`s there when the stereo is cranked.....you feel it all through your body but personally I would rather listen to the engine purr!

No matter how well I dried the engine area every time I started the engine it would spit water up on the rear glass :hmph: The engine area though is a detailers dream...everything is so visible and within reach.

Thanks for the compliment from you all,

    Anthony

:LOLOL Yea now I know what they were reminding me of! If they were a bit larger holes you could maybe stick a drink in there.....easy reach cup holder!

I was looking at the radio like a lot of the other guys and it looks like a McIntosh. For those not familiar with the brand it`s a pretty high end audio company. Mostly they make stuff for the home, but they do have a car audio line as well. Nice to see a high end car with a high end audio system.
