If I was detailing for a living, I would create some multimedia presentation on what a detailer could do for potential clients including the damage that is possible at the local swirl a matic. This includes service by cleaning the interior (get a soccer mom concerned about germs in the interior with all that trash), headlight restoration (safety), etc.
As I said in the ceiling thread, people do not realize the incremental damage and even a very swirled car with decent paint will look fine at off angles.
