Trans Am Nationals - Fairborn, Ohio

I was out in Ohio for a business trip last week and was able to stay an extra day to attend the Trans Am Nationals. Over 400 Firebirds in one place. Crazy...

There was a "new" Bandit Edition Trans Am there. $145,000. It`s made by a company in Florida that is recreating muscle cars such as the TA and GTO Judge. Interestingly enough, the staff wouldn`t let him into the actual show because it wasn`t a "genuine" Pontiac Trans Am. He had to park in the swap meet area...

Thanks for sharing that, really enjoyed it! Especially some of those period mods.

Heck if I knew a fellow autopian was going I would of offered you a drink at the stall. My buddy vends TA parts there and I was the one (only one that I could tell) that was smoking a cigar the whole 3 days and drinking scotch in the vending area ( we had wine cooler and beer too, but I am a Buick guy so I like scotch--we were behind Firebird Central and the fellow who redoes the Turned aluminum dash plates Come to think of it, our stall was about 6 stalls away from the Bandit edition because I remember looking at that hood being propped up the whole time, if you look at pic 16/52 of your slide show, you can see the red tent awning and a red ford f150 where I was at(had 2 tents but the red is visible in the pic--amazing what can be done to a new Camaro!! Been going for about 10 yrs now and its a good show!!!
    Thanks
