I am not a big domestic car guy, but I am heading up from Atlanta to this one in September. I hear this is a HUGE event for cars from 1978 or so and older. Anyone else going?

I see this Corvette at every local show here in the Detroit area. I have honestly never noticed the ghost flames in it until now and I see it once a week at least. It is a gorgeous car. I THINK, but I could be wrong that is was owned, at one time, by Heinz Prechter, the king of the sunroof (http://www.detnews.com/2001/metro/01...01-244716.htm).

Now that I look closer I see 90% of those cars at all the local events. Looks like all of our Downriver car clubs attended. Here is a pic of that "Sh Boom" in action.

"Sh Boom" was staged up front on the second day shooting flames. It was awesome.
