I attended a Mustang Show and Shine yesterday, and over 120 cars competed from 64 1/2 up to new 05 Mustangs. There were also a few classic Ford that were non-Mustangs in the crowd as well.

I was pleased to win the Best Paint award with stock paint on my 2000 Mustang GT. This car used to be a daily driver when I first bought it, and has even gone through 2 Canadian Winters on steele rims and snow tires. The car has been a show car, cruiser/pleasure vehicle for the past three years, and I detail it meticulously, of course avoiding rain, and absolutely no driving after October any more.

The car was wearing the following:

    Klasse AIO

    Clearkote Vanilla Moose

    Clearkote Carnuba Moose

    Spritzed with Clearkote Quickshine

Poorboys Bold and Bright on the tires

    Dash dressed with 303 Protectatnt

Leather received Zaino Leather Conditioner mixed with Lexol Conditioner

Glass, what else but Stoner`s IG

Again, I was thrilled to get this award with some of the killer paint jobs on the restored cars, as well as the Mystic Mustangs that were present, both 1996 and 2004 Cobras.

Thanks Autopia for all of the tips and tricks; they are paying off.
