I use a strong all purpose dressing to clean the engines, (plus lots of elbow grease, shop rags, and detail brushes. ) Once its clean I hose it down, blow dry, and follow up with my water based dressing. Gary p.s. for stubborn spots I may add engine degreaser to the list.

Like AutoNova asked: What product did you use for the cleaning, and what for the dressing? We`re not usually cagey here when we talk about our detailing projects.
