I have added some Griot`s Best of Show Wax to my wash before. It helped a bit but the wax gets everywhere and when it dries you have to get it out of the cracks.

I have done #7 in my car wash soap many times and it does make a difference as far a shine is concerned. And no issues with wiping. I guess that is why I was recommended a glaze.

    Hope this helps.

I think I`m gonna use some VM + #81+ some Trade Secret which I`m anxiously awaiting. I`ll let you know how it turns out should have everything done by this Saturday! Thanks for all the help but keep goin with the combos so I have somethin to experiment with next time!

Does the #81 have any cleaning ability? It sounds like it does but I have a hunch that it does not.

Most people for show cars around here use Meguiars # 7 or 3M Imperial hand glaze, No wax. I work part time for a high line restoration shop and they use 3M High Gloss Paste Wax on most cars that they do especially black. I guess its what works for you.

Interesting. Does it make any difference as to what soap that is being used (I`m using NXT now) and how much do you add to a coiple gallons of soap? Might have to give that a try next time.:xyxthumbs

I have used it with different soaps and it worked fine. as far as how much? I have used about an oz and sometimes a lot more - just wanted to seewhat would happen. For one it eats up the suds. but the way I did it was first I wash the car and then wash it again with the #7 added to the soap.
