Took the kids out to Holmdel, NJ for the Monmouth County Concours d` Elegance. Great show, with many fine cars from the 20`s 30`s 40`s and 50`s. My favorites were a 59 300 SL and a 68 Bentley. Figured I would share some pics !!!

    Enjoy !!!

    RDAVEX7,

Unfortunately no. Most of the cars were clean, but the paint on about 80% of the cars needed additional attention. Some of the more glaring areas that needed attention was swirled paint, and dirty tires (whitewalls and browning tires), and fenderwells. Little things that should be defenitely not apparent at a concours event.

The 59 300 SL and the Black 68 Bentley were detailed to a very high standard. I am sure the 300 SL is a 99-100 point car.

The silver Gullwing was pretty tired and was in need of a light cosmetic restoration to make it right. It pains me to see a car like that not perfect.

The 1935 Delage D8-85 Clabot Roadster was so sexy !!! That car was gorgeous !!!

Overall the cars were nice, but only a few were at a level of the cars you will see at an event like Pebble Beach.

Nice pics. I lived right near Holmdel from 98-03, the HS parking lot is like a car show there.

Wow 80% is not cool. You probably seen things that the average joe didnt see, im constanly picking car`s apart like that, even my own. It`s become a habit at stop lights and car show`s.

It pains me too to see car`s of that caliber in not so perfect shape for the show at least. Hopefully next time some of these car`s will see you before the show.
