I detailed both of these recently. They were at a local show tonight, so I went by to snap some pics.

    92 Miata and 04 Saleen (It`s a real Saleen, not a clone)

Notice the depth in the Saleen (wearing Collinite 845)...you can see the Miata

This Miata has nice gloss for 17 years old (wearing Z5 pro with a Z8 wipedown)

    These were snapped after sunset

Are you saying that Miata still has the original factory paint? If so, that car must have been garaged for the majority of it`s life. That yellow is amazing!

Jackson Racing cold air induction, a strut bar, and a couple other minor things (no turbo or super charger). It also has racing beat dual exhaust.

Yes, it is the original single stage paint. The owner said he last waxed it 3 years ago. When I detailed it, the back panel had oxidized, and it was pretty swirled. The oxidation and 95% of the swirls were able to be removed. I am not a fan of yellow, but I was happy with that.

Nice work man. I don`t think I`ve ever seen a yellow Miata. Is it rare?

Thanks - according to the owner, 1500 were made. The color was kind of a "flop" for Mazda back in 92. He is a Miata freak, so he bought this one knowing it would one day be a rare car. He gets CRAZY offers for it from other Miata club owners. The color is Sunburst Yellow. If you Google it, you`ll find some history on it.
