Purple? Black on black. The SRT8 option in black is an extremely popular combo.

Yeah, I get updates and news from the link on their site:
Dodge - 2008 Challenger - Get updates
The new R/T and SRT8 options are awesome, you have to admit.
I love that car.......:up
Except for the Walmart boom-box silver plastic looking wheels on that ride......

The Challenger is a huge let down and a turd, IMO. It is basically a two door version of the four door Charger, only it only weights 80lbs less!!! This car weighs in north of two tons and has the same "hemi" engine as the Charger. Talk about a let down... Also, the Charger is expected to have better top end because the Challenger about as areodynamic as a brick...
So hopefully Chevy can avoid taking an amazing concept car and sticking it on a four door chassis, increasing the drag with out increasing the power, not offer a stick shift, and charge 5k more...

In addition the Camaro won`t be all that light either it will probably be just shy of 2 tons itself, although I don`t think official numbers have been released. Heck the f-bodies were something around 3600 lbs. at least so the 5th gens are going to be a little more since new cars just keep getting heavier and heavier with each new model.
From the pictures I`ve seen of the Camaro test mules, the Challenger wins in the looks department IMO. Except for the interior they really dropped the ball on that, but I wasn`t surprised. Hopefully the production Camaro won`t look too different form the concept because I really thought the concept looked awesome.
