Mark I got your message today. You are right it is a long list and I`m sure I will leave out several items but here it is. Car is a 1989 Corvette with manual 6 speed transmission.
FX=3 suspension but it has been lowered plus custom programing on the computer that controls the shocks.
Wheels replaced with chrome 11 inch wide GS style wheels with G Force king of dry tires.
Frame has X bracing for improved handling. Hurst short throw shifter.
Engine block is SBC based on Dart block 406 cid. Procharger D1-R blower
custom 8 rib pulleys and belt/ Custom built spearco intercooler/dual 16"spal fans/ NOS wet nitrous system controlled by Jacobs mastermind controller./Spearco water/alcohol injection system./Polished and chrome platted TPIS mini-ram-ll intake./Holley twin 58mm polished throttle body./AFR cylinder heads./AFR rev kit./Manley push rods./Comp cams custom grind roller./Comp cams roller lifters./Comp cams roller rockers 1.6 ratio./Ross custom built blower pistons with4340 pins./Speed pro rings./6 inch eagle 4340 3D rods./Eagle 4340 crank./Fluid balancer./Engine electronically balanced./Cloyes true roller timing chain./Melling high pressure high volume oil pump./10qt.multi trap door oil pan./Large engine oil cooler./MSD Digital-7 ignition./with MSD pro power coil./MSD Boost retard./MSD Superconductor wires./Accel DFI Gen-7 wideband fuel management system./83lbs. fuel injectors./Custom built centerforce clutch and flywheel./TPIS jet hot ceramic coated headers./custom built 3 inch exhaust from engine to rear bumper with electric cut outs to route it through mufflers when needed./13" rotor with 6 piston Brimbro calipers with Hawk HP pads./custom air spoiler with air ducts to the brakes./Dual fuel pumps with lines down both sides of frame. One pump is on a RPM switch don`t run till engine exceeds 3500rpm./Triple pillar pod autometer gauges/air fuel ratio/ fuel pressure /Boost./radar detector and radar jammer.

The difference between men and boys is the speed of their toy`s.

IF IT IS NOT BLOWN IT SUCKS.

It has nothing to do with performance but it has a Mega Buck Custom Black paint job on it.

Good to hear from you Mark.

Mark horsepower is variable depending on the nitrous setting but last time on the dyno it made 1188 hp this was with a 150 shot of nitrous and 20lbs of boost. The D1-R is capable of 32lbs.
I can spray much more but two things keep me from wanting to try it.
#1 I don`t want to drive the crank out on the ground.
#2 Hard to get hooked up so unless I tub it and go for 20 inch tires not much point in turning it up.
I have always tried to keep it looking stock ULTIMATE SLEEPER
Just a 25 year old vette with a stock L98
I don`t see myself ever butchering the body to run more than the 12.5 that I have on it.
After all it is just a street car.
I have not been able to drive it in over a month broke my wrist will be in cast till sept.23rd.

    @ Black Bart

I bet that`s a fun toy. Most V8`s nowadays have cylinder deactivation for better MPG, whereas Black Bart`s has a second fuel pump to kick in above 3.5k.

Yes and that race gas is so cheap.

Sweet! That is a nice list!

I use to enjoy building cars from the ground up, had a 10 sec 1970 442 and a 12 sec 1987 442 back in the day. Now I would just rather buy factory hot rods, don`t have the time to build`em. My 10 GT500 made 540 at the wheels with some bolt on mods, but when the 13 came out I had to have one in GB with black stripes. My 13 has the Performance package with a Torsen limited-slip diff, Bilstein two-mode dampers, uprated springs, stabilizer bars and forged wheels, SVT Track package with engine, diff and transmission cooler, NAV and Recaro sport seats.

Bone stock 13`s and 14`s with a KB SC swap and tune are making 1000+ on race gas and high 900`s on 93.

Photo of the engine, Please overlook the poor quality this was taken with a cheap point and shoot. Nitrous solenoids can be seen on custom mount under the throttle body.

Poor as a church mouse now. But i do have a drop in AFE dry flow air filter. If i had the funds, i would have liked to given it a 2" lift and maybe bigger meats. A programmer (HYPERTECH) would have been on the short list too.

Glad there are so many gear heads on the forum!

I`ve been reading a lot of great reviews on the Eibach Rear Sway Bar for my car...so...I bit the bullet and ordered one! Everyone says the difference compared to the stock sway bar is HUGE.

Can`t wait to get it installed.

Re: Any Performance Mods To YOUR Car?

A couple of years back I installed an Eibach suspension on a Supra for a guy. The kit included springs, sway bars, struts, links, the list goes on. That thing cornered like a skateboard on rails. Man it was tight.

I think every car guy has said those words before.

Can`t wait to see it in action

I for one have never said anything close to that Ray. I always buy a vehicle thinking what am I going to do to it first? Nothing I`ve ever purchased was good enough "out of the box". Doesn`t matter whether it`s a firearm, electronics, vehicle or a golf club there was always something you can do to make it yours (read better). More boost, higher loft, less weight, more cubes, more memory, smoother trigger, better lens, better speakers, there`s always something.

Picked my daughter up her first CCW pistol for her birthday last week (Ruger SP101 357/38 revolver). Nice little revolver and plenty controllable in a woman`s smaller hand with .38 special loads. It hasn`t been fired yet but the upgrade parts will be here for it this week. I have had her shoot one and she liked it. We`ll spend a night together making the mods and she`ll know her pistol far better than the average guy when finished. It will fit her hand better, the trigger will be lighter and smoother, she`ll have no cause to get to know what a finicky trigger these things came with from the factory. In the end, she`ll know her pistol inside and out and she won`t be afraid to take it apart or simply clean it. That`s the biggest benefit to customizing something for yourself. You really know what you have.

2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0T - No longer own it
    - 550cc Injectors
    - Synapse BOV
    - MXP catback
    - 10fintec downpipe
    - 10fintec custom intercooler system
    - Custom Performance (CPE) Intake
    - HSD Coilovers
    - Custom Tune on a dyno

Made 227 WHP and about 200 TQ. I was actually disappointed in the numbers compared to my peers.

    2011 Lexus I250 - pending sale
    F-Sport axleback
    Megan midpipe
    K&N Intake

The Lexus ISx50 series is not really tune-able. I actually sold all the parts last month

I will report back on the next car

Re: Any Performance Mods To YOUR Car?

I hate to brag, or people who do. I have a couple of toys I am addicted too. I believe a man has to have his toys, if not for sanity alone! My toys are ALL marketing tools, they are the only advertising I do. In 2001 there were 231 Super charged Saleen S281 SCs made. The one in my garage is one of 14 made in Oxford white that year, dynoed at over 400 hp. My daily driver is Crimson red Cadillac Eldorado, I call it the road hog. I have my Black 1969 Mercury Cougar XR-7 Convertible from high school, one of 4024 made. Its one of less than 60 left to exist today. I have my cherished 1997 Jag XK-8 Coupe in metallic black, one of 300 Coupes to come to this country in 1997. One of six with the Coffee interior. Like I said, I hate to brag. These toys are humbly accepted by me, and I am grateful to God who allows it. That said, I respect my toys and pray for many years of Happy Motoring! Without a doubt, "Auto Paint rejuvenation" has been good for me. But no more toys already!
