Do any of you guys change the inside air or "CABIN FILTER"in your cars??

Seems to be a big push by some dealers.

At least annually. And I do it myself. Most cars are very easy to do.

Sure do. You wouldn`t believe how dirty the thing is when I change it (somewhere around every 12K miles or so).
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Is there a link as to where the things are located? Are they under the dash or up front by the windshild wipers?

I think it would depend on your vehicle. I would imagine it would be somewhere close to your AC motor.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Like Jared said. You`ll be disgusted knowing that the air you`re breathing in the cabin went through all that crud. Definitely not a gimmick. I think Autozone can pull up the filter`s location.

Check your owner`s manual. Or Google it. I have also found videos on YouTube.

    Re: Cabin filter

I change mine out at least annually, sometimes twice a year depending on how much I used the air in the first 6 months.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in English, thank a soldier.
